It started as a summer project in March of 1990. With $200 and a PC home computer, Mike and Russ set up a desktop publishing office on the fifth floor of the Bartlet Building in Downtown Windsor.
By July 1991 the company was incorporated and moved to a plaza location at McDougall and Tecumseh Road. Mr. Copies operated out of several units at this location over the next 12 years. By 1992, the company was supplementing typesetting and desktop publishing work with copying and eventually offset printing. |

In September of 1995, the Mr. Copies University of Windsor campus store launched. The original store featured student copying, faxing and resume service.
The store was moved and expanded in 1999 to its present location. |

In April of 2002, Mike and Russ purchased a 5400 square foot building eight blocks from the plaza location and moved the entire operation to its present location. The new space offered better exposure, easier access and some much needed square footage. |

Okay, so it wasn't pretty....but its amazing what a little bit of paint and elbow grease will accomplish.
One great addition to the store front was a custom 15 foot neon channel sign. |

In November 2003, Lasergraphic Systems (a local blueprint and reprographics company) was purchased and relaunched as a Mr. Copies brand. The new acquisition was a great addition bringing large format capabilities to Mr. Copies extensive line of digital services.
